Scenery Beta es un festival internacional de homebrew donde desarrolladores y equipos de todo el mundo pueden presentar sus proyectos y obras para que los conozca el gran público. Se organiza para las plataformas de las que SceneBeta.com tiene comunidad en este momento (PC, PSP, NDS y Wii) y con la estructura de los festivales de cine tradicionales.

Scenery Beta is an international homebrew showcase, where developers and teams from around the world may show their works and projects, and so make 'em known to the Big Audience. It is aimed to those platforms on which SceneBeta.com has an active community right now (PC, PSP, NDS and Wii), and akin to the commonplace film festivals.

Un año más se acerca el verano y con él la segunda edición de nuestro querido Scenery. Esperamos que el Scenery Beta 2009 supere con creces la participación de la edición 2008 (sobre todo en secciones como Wii y NDS), para ello nuestro "concurso" de homebrew mantiene este año la dotación económica en premios (2.400€ a pesar de la crisis), renueva el modelo y la capacidad de los pendrives (esta vez son de 4GB), estrena trofeos, añade unas pegatinas de recuerdo y oficializa los diplomas.

Scenery Beta 2009 más que un "concurso" es un festival (al más puro estilo de los festivales de cine) donde además de homenajear a los programadores, que son los que hacen crecer la Scene, nos hará disfrutar, sepamos o no programar, de novedades para todas nuestras plataformas preferidas: PSP, Nintendo DS, Wii y PC.

A whole year has passed since the first Scenery Beta 2008, and our particular Homebrew Festival has returned with the summer time. This time we are glad to announce that we will give real trophies to the winners of each category. We hope that the Scenery Beta 2009 will bring to us even more Homebrews than the last festival (specially in sections like Wii and NDS). In order to achieve this purpose our Homebrew Festival will dristribute as much money as the last year (2.400€ even despite the global crisis), new model and capacity for the pendrives (4GB each one), new trophies, commemorative stickers and official diplomas.

Scenery Beta 2009 is not a competition, it is just a festival (similar to cinema festivals) which not only pay tribute to all those great coders who make the scene bigger and bigger, but also make the rest of us enjoy with new games and applications for our favourite consoles: PSP, Nintendo DS, Wii and PC.
