Settings for events filtering are specified in the event settings file, which is a JSON-format file with the extension .jfs. When you start an application on Oracle JRockit, the Flight Recorder looks for the specified event settings file and uses that to determine which events to include in the recording. You can add and reload settings files during run time by using a jrcmd command or Ctrl-Break handler.
